Project brief:
This project, implemented by GIZ as part of ABC-PADER, supports farmers and herders in Cameroon’s cotton-growing regions by promoting climate-adapted agricultural practices and sustainable land management. GIZ’s role focuses on securing land tenure to reduce resource conflicts, providing access to finance for agricultural producers, and enhancing capacity building for local organisations. Additionally, GIZ facilitates vocational training programs that equip youth and women with skills to improve agricultural productivity and employability, particularly in the context of climate resilience and sustainable resource use.
