Designed for financiers, policymakers, local impact brokers, and national and subnational governments in Cameroon, this tool clarifies adaptation finance flows and gaps and facilitates inclusive local adaptation by increasing transparency and knowledge on these finance flows.

Programme brief:
The ProBioDev Programme in Cameroon aims to strengthen the capacity of civil society organisations (CSOs) working on biodiversity conservation. It focuses on enhancing their roles in policy dialogue, project implementation, and community engagement. ProBioDev supports initiatives that promote sustainable practices and protect ecosystems, encouraging collaboration among stakeholders to address biodiversity challenges effectively. This programme aligns with broader conservation efforts and aims to empower local communities to contribute actively to environmental sustainability.

Welcome to the Cameroon adaptation finance landscape tool!

This tool is designed to be a practical, user-friendly resource, enhancing the visibility of adaptation finance flows in Cameroon. It maps current and near-term local adaptation programmes and projects in Cameroon, as of end-2024, using publicly-accessible data.

This first iteration maps international public funding, laying the foundation for future layers and broader replication.

The tool follows a participatory and iterative approach. Built as a living resource, this tool will be updated over time and enriched with additional contributions. We invite collaborators to provide feedback and suggest adjustments and additions to the data.
