Designed for financiers, policymakers, local impact brokers, and national and subnational governments in Cameroon, this tool clarifies adaptation finance flows and gaps and facilitates inclusive local adaptation by increasing transparency and knowledge on these finance flows.

IKI Medium Grants fund project activities that address innovative, bottom-up contributions to the implementation of the Paris Agreement and the Convention on Biological Diversity. This is achieved through annual ideas competitions with varying funding priorities, to which interested actors can apply with their innovative project ideas. Projects for this grant opportunity are to run 2 to 3 years.
This tool is designed to be a practical, user-friendly resource, enhancing the visibility of adaptation finance flows in Cameroon. It maps current and near-term local adaptation programmes and projects in Cameroon, as of end-2024, using publicly-accessible data.
This first iteration maps international public funding, laying the foundation for future layers and broader replication.
The tool follows a participatory and iterative approach. Built as a living resource, this tool will be updated over time and enriched with additional contributions. We invite collaborators to provide feedback and suggest adjustments and additions to the data.
