The programme helps to ensure that raw materials in Cameroon are extracted in a socially fair, poverty-reducing and environmentally friendly manner as weak state structures cannot ensure compliance with environmental and socio-economic standards. This is done by strengthening citizen initiatives to monitor the trade of international corporations.
This initial version of the tool is designed to be a practical, user-friendly resource for climate adaptation practitioners, enhancing the visibility of adaptation finance flows in Cameroon. It maps current and near-term local adaptation programmes and projects in Cameroon, as of 2024.
The tool follows a participatory and iterative approach. We invite collaborators to provide feedback and suggest adjustments and additions to the data.
