Programme brief:
The Capacity-Building for Transparency in NDC Implementation in Cameroon project (#10446) aims to enhance institutional and technical capacities for implementing the Paris Agreement through improved climate transparency. The project focuses on strengthening the Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification system to ensure compliance with the Enhanced Transparency Framework. It will provide technical support, training, and tools to improve data collection and processing related to climate change, thereby enabling informed decision-making. Managed by the Ministry of Environment, Protection of Nature, and Sustainable Development, implementation began in May 2023 following initial delays.

Programme concept note

Welcome to the Cameroon climate adaptation finance mapping tool!

This tool is designed to be a practical, user-friendly resource, enhancing the visibility of adaptation finance flows in Cameroon. It maps current and near-term local adaptation programmes and projects in Cameroon, as of end-2024, using publicly-accessible data.

This first iteration maps international public funding, laying the foundation for future layers and broader replication.

The tool follows a participatory and iterative approach. Built as a living resource, this tool will be updated over time and enriched with additional contributions. We invite collaborators to provide feedback and suggest adjustments and additions to the data.
