Designed for financiers, policymakers, local impact brokers, and subnational governments in Cameroon, this tool clarifies finance flows and gaps and facilitates inclusive local adaptation by connecting cities with the funding institutions they need to move from ideas to investment-ready projects.

Budget: USD 10,000,000, splited as:
– Support to local governments for inclusive and resilient urban management: USD 7,000,000.
– Support to national government to improve urban planning tools and land management for more inclusive and resilient cities: USD 3,000,000.
Project brief:
This component will provide technical assistance to relevant national and local level government institutions to strengthen their capacity to develop and implement inclusive and resilient urban development strategies and programs and improve urban management in participating local governments. The proposed activities were chosen considering complementarities with support being provided in parallel by other projects, particularly the National Community Development Programme. It will have two sub-components: Sub-component 1.1 will provide support to local governments, while Sub-component 1.2 will provide support to national government entities.
